Wood:
one 36″ x 36″ piece of 1/2″ or 3/4″ thick exterior grade plywood, good one or two sides, preferably 5-ply for better stability

Tools:
hand held sabre saw, scroll saw or band saw with a smooth cutting non-chipping blade
hammer

transfer paper, pencil & clear tape
sandpaper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
paint brushes-2″ and 3/4″ wide brushes
glue-exterior wood glue
