one 1X10 x 6′ long rough sawn cedar board
one 1/4″ dia. x 4 3/4″ long, wood dowel

Hardware: required for assembly: flat head, galvanized or zinc plated screws; 1 1/2″ long, finish nails

Tools:
table saw or circular saw, hand held sabre saw with a smooth cutting, non-chipping blade
drill and 3/16″, 1/4″ and 1 1/2″ dia. drill bits

transfer paper (#CARB), pencil& clear tape
sand paper-medium & fine grits
wood filler-non shrinking, fast drying for wood flaws
exterior wood glue
